Dear dancers, your exquisite ballet garments are crafted with utmost care using delicate premium fabrics to ensure grace and comfort. To preserve their beauty and longevity, we recommend gentle care. Treat your dancewear with the same love and attention you give to your practice, and they will continue to inspire your movements for seasons to come. Our dancewear is built to last, but only when it is treated with love and kindness.
TOP TIPS:
1- Turn your clothes inside out before washing. If using a washing machine, include a laundry bag for optimal care.
2- Never dry your dancewear with puffy sweatshirts, towels, or clothing with zippers or embellishments that could snag your delicate dancewear.
3- Dancewear in the dryer will only reduce clothes’ lifespan. Air dry is best for longevity.
4- Be sure your garments are thoroughly dry before storing and keep them in a place with good ventilation. Plastic storage bins should be avoided, as they’re known to trap moisture.
5- Rotating your dancewear reduces the strain on individual pieces, allowing them to last longer. So, be sure to maintain a varied selection of Lateliertutu dancewear, including leotards, tights, and foundation garments, so you can swap them out frequently.
HAND WASH
For Mesh, Chiffon, Velvet, and Knitting garments, hand wash in cold water with mild detergent and lay flat to air dry to maintain their intricate details, delicate drape, and to retain their shape and elasticity.
MACHINE WASH
For Cotton and Nylon garments, those can be machine washed with like colors on a gentle cycle and best air-dried to prevent stretching and promote longevity.
DRY CLEANING ONLY
For Suede garments, those should be spot cleaned or dry cleaned to safeguard their luxurious texture.
